I came to AAMCO after another shop told me I needed a new transmission — they even put it on the invoice! Needless to say, I was nervous and upset. My truck isn’t that old, it’s just out of warranty, and I’ve kept up with all my scheduled maintenance over the years. After reading AAMCO’s great reviews, I decided to call and make an appointment — and I’m so glad I did. They took my truck in right away and were incredibly attentive to the symptoms I described. The mechanic kept me updated throughout the diagnostics and repair process, explained everything clearly, and (best of all) confirmed I did not need a new transmission! Since I was already there, I also had them replace my TPMS sensors — no problem, done quickly and professionally. The front desk staff were beyond pleasant, super knowledgeable, and made the whole experience stress-free. This shop is seriously a hidden gem in Huntington. I’ll absolutely be bringing my truck back here for any future service. Thank you again to the whole team — you earned a customer for life!
